A. Wise Tax Service is a family business focused on personal and business income tax and property tax. The key personnel of A. Wise Tax Service consists of Al, Jeni, Andrew, and Juliana Wise.

Al Wise is the founder and owner of A. Wise Tax Service, a sole proprietorship. He is an Enrolled Agent, a Property Tax Expert, and a Real Estate Broker. Al has more than 25 years of experience working with income tax; first working as an IRS Agent, and then operating Al Wise Tax Service (recently renamed A. Wise Tax Service to include his son, Andrew). Al worked in the Contra Costa County Assessor’s Office for 25 years. For the last 20 years, Al managed the Business Property Division as Principal Appraiser and then as Chief Deputy Assessor. Al has testified in front of the Assessment Appeals Board for cases including hearings regarding multi-billion dollar valuations of petroleum refineries. He is uniquely qualified to represent you on all property tax matters. Al is dedicated to providing the highest quality service to taxpayers to ensure that no client pays more than they must in income and property taxes.

Jeni Wise is the operation manager of the company. She has worked as an office manager and bookkeeper. Jeni worked for the state of California for more than 20 years where she honed her organizational, business and interpersonal communication skills. She is a licensed and bonded Income Tax Preparer.

Andrew Wise is a licensed and bonded Income Tax Preparer, and computer technician. He has years of experience solving complicated computer problems for friends and family. He also is an Electrical Project Engineer for a local contractor.

Juliana Wise, MBA is a data analyst and event coordinator. Juliana is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
